There's no reason not to use the first two unless we think that we're going to be tricked on our third attempt.
I say use them early on the off chance that we hit one, then save the last one until we're sure.

My instinct says I should not say anything in thread about neutrals wanting to touch base.
Is there a reason I'm wrong.

Sent out probes to Langly, Cythraul, Anialos, and TheRoadVirus.
Cythraul is not neutral

BTW, in my soft networking, I'm claiming the ability to convert neutrals to village but with only one shot instead of 3. I'm waiting until after they reveal if they are neutral or village though so as to try not to influence their reveal.

That seems risky since that information will likely be disseminated. If the narration reveals too much, then there will be TROUBLE for you.

Only if they also know my target. Not unrealistic to think that there's someone on each side with the power.
Though I hadn't thought of that so if it's likely to come up I'll stop talking about it for now.

The only other thing to think about is that if we have am ability seer, other folk probably do as well.

The only way an action seer would bust me is if they targeted me the same day I successfully hit a neutral, and it was revealed in narration as a mafia convert.
If you were an action seer, would you use your first day's action to watch a self-proclaimed neutral converter with a 1-shot ability?
Also, I sent out a greeting to the relative newbies: AManFromEarth, Honk, and premium. (edit: and sheep)

why not, give us another vote to control, chances of finding a special neutral is slim anyway

He has a power but hasn't revealed it to me. It sounds like it might be post-based a la Obi.

MrT Re: Logic Phalla I see that you are fairly new to phalla (at least I haven't seen you around), so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm MrT! I generally talk a lot and contribute very little unless there are a lot of mechanics to meta since I am terrible at reading people but fairly good at figuring out how people design games. My particular role has me looking for neutrals (I don't want to hurt them, I promise ). I can enhance their power. So, if you are a neutral, you can tell me, I won't bite. Generally, neutrals are fairly free with their information since they don't have anything to fear from either the mafia or the village, but I don't know your win condition, so only you can decide whether it's realistically safe to reveal. If you are mafia, just ignore this message. If you are village, hey there, me too, do you happen to know any neutrals? I can help them and us at the same time! premium This is my second phalla, so yeah I'm pretty new. I'm usually pretty good at reading people, hopefully that translates into the game. I did ok last game. I suppose I can reveal a little info to you, if you were mafia you would already know that I'm not one of you. I don't have what I would consider a standard win condition, and at this point wouldn't consider myself part of the village, though it's possible that I might end up in their camp later. Going to have to see how this plays out for a bit before deciding how I'm going to play. I also have some... interesting powers. If you are sharp you may notice them in play tomorrow! So yeah. I'm a neutral for now, what kind of superpowers are you capable of granting me, and what do you want in return? MrT Is being in the village camp something you desire? Because I can change your win condition to something more traditional. And in doing so, make your power better. Better how, I can't say, because I don't really know. Without quoting my role PM, my guess is that it would let you use it more frequently or with fewer restrictions. I don't want to take you against your will, so if you say you don't want to, I will not make you village-aligned, but I think it will be better for everyone, especially if you're just going to end up on that side in the end. premium I have a pretty cool win condition in that I can change it to village on my own later, if I'm connected enough. My powers don't seem to have too many restrictions on them, though I would consider them more "interesting" than "powerful". I don't want to make myself seem like some kind of threat to the village, but I was planning on staying neutral for now in case things go awry. My "main" win condition doesn't seem to care about which side I end up on, or even if I pick sides.
